Soul Food Restaurant is a restaurant located in the heart of Yaba. Serving both continental and intercontinental dishes.

We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

Job Position: Chef and Cook

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
• Maintain accurate food inventories
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
• Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
• Oversee food preparation, checking that all kitchen staff are performing their duties
• Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment as needed
• Help the restaurant determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered
• Train new kitchen staff

Requirements

• BA, GCE qualification:
• Minimum 3 years of experience:
• Must reside in Yaba and environs

Salary
N35,000 – N60,000 monthly
