We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

Job Title: Quality Control Officer

Location: Kano

Job Purpose

  • To monitor product quality and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products to verify they meet company’s standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, reports and any corrective action taken.
  • Implement quality control procedures and maintain records.
  • Train staff on quality standards and best practices
  • Collect samples of supplies upon arrival to ensure they meet the company’s quality requirements before acceptance.
  • Ensure that incoming trucks are scaled for weight both before and after offloading to confirm delivery quantities accurately.
  • Any other task assigned by the line manager to support quality and compliance objectives.

Requirement

  • Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.

 

Job Title: Administrative Officer
Location: Jogana, Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • To handle administrative functions, support HR needs, and maintain an organized and efficient office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle general office duties including managing correspondence, maintaining files and coordinating office supplies.
  • Attend to Walk-in customers inquiries and complaints.
  • Direct incoming visitors to the appropriate officers and ensure a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments and organizing company events.
  • Manage employee records, payroll processing and attendance tracking.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.

Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Kano

Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and interviewing potential candidates.
  • Facilitate the hiring and onboarding process, including background checks, employment contracts, and orientation.
  • Maintain employee records and update the HR database regularly.

Employee Relations & Welfare:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving workplace disputes professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies, labor laws, and ethical standards.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and grievances, maintaining fairness and transparency.

Payroll & Benefits Administration:

  • Collaborate with the finance department to process monthly payroll, allowances, and deductions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production processes, ensuring efficiency and production targets are met.
  • Coordinate with loaders and equipment operators to optimize production flow and minimize delays.
  • Report daily on the number of raw bags opened, bags produced and final production output to track productivity and material usage.
  • Document and report any operational issues encountered that could impact production.

Job Title: IT Officer

Location: Jogana, Kano

Job Description
Hardware Maintenance & Support:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware failures, replacing faulty components when necessary.
  • Ensure regular maintenance and servicing of IT equipment to minimize breakdowns.
  • Keep an inventory of all IT-related hardware and manage repairs or replacements.

Network Administration:

  • Set up and maintain LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and Wi-Fi connections.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Configure and secure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Ensure data security by implementing network access controls and security protocols.

IT Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical support to staff on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Respond to IT support requests promptly and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Security & Data Protection:

  • Ensure all IT systems are protected against cyber threats by updating antivirus and security software.

System Upgrades & Documentation:

  • Recommend and implement upgrades to improve IT efficiency and security.

Job Title: Sales & Marketing Officer

Job Purpose

  • To drive sales growth, establish customer relationships and implement marketing strategies to promote the rice and Oil mill’s products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage customers account by maintaining regular communication, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction and repeated business.
  • Build and sustain relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact for account related matters.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends.
  • Create marketing materials and campaigns to increase product awareness and attract new customers.
  • Generate report on sales performance , market feedback and customer engagement.
  • Handle customer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Any other duty assigned by the general supervisor to support revenue growth and generation.

Requirement

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with at least 3 years work experience.

 

Job Title: Surveillance Officer

Location: Kano

Responsibilities
CCTV Monitoring & Surveillance:

  • Monitor CCTV cameras 24/7 to detect suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or security threats.
  • Regularly review recorded footage to investigate incidents and provide reports to management.
  • Ensure CCTV cameras are fully operational and report any malfunctions for immediate repair.

Access Control & Security Monitoring:

  • Track and log all vehicle and personnel movements within and around the premises.
  • Ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
  • Maintain records of security incidents and report them to the Head of Security or Management.

Incident Response & Reporting:

  • Respond promptly to security incidents and coordinate with the security team for immediate action.
  • Document all security breaches, thefts, or suspicious activities in detailed reports.
  • Work closely with the security team to enforce security measures.

Compliance & Safety Enforcement:

  • Ensure staff, visitors, and laborers adhere to the company’s security policies and house rules.
  • Enforce prohibition of unauthorized items, such as weapons, stolen goods, or restricted materials.

Coordination with Security Teams:

  • Provide real-time updates to the Head of Security regarding security risks.
  • Support investigations into security violations using CCTV footage as evidence.
  • Recommend improvements to surveillance and security strategies.

Requirement

  • Candidates should possess an OND qualification.
