Farm Attendants Job at Taghini Foods

Taghini Foods is a traditional poultry processing company based in Ibadan. We supply fresh and frozen poultry products to wholesalers, caterers and further processors, including products suitable for Halal customers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Farm Attendant

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibility

• Distributing feed
• Cleaning the pens
• Ensuring proper ventilation
• Removing dead or sick birds
• Maintaining facilities in good working order
• Monitoring flockbehaviourto detect any signs of illness
• Culling birds for processing
• Cleans poultry houses and pen, clean and fills feeders and water containers.

Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Applicant must have at least a First School Leaving Certificate.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be responsible.
• Ability to learn and adapt to situation.
• Ability to work under pressure with little or no supervision.
• Good knowledge of practical farm operations.
• Basic knowledge of the feedings and care of poultry birds.
• Ability to operate basic farm tools and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions.
