Job Title: Strategy and Research Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • As a Strategy and Research Officer, you will conduct business research to validate the identification and justification of key strategic initiatives. You will manage department level strategic initiatives, present progress updates and summaries at various strategy meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze market conditions, industry trends, leading and lagging indicators, competitive dynamics and disruptive forces in support of the organization’s strategy
  • Provide frequent communication and collaboration with various departments on focus projects and products
  • Analyze data to substantiate key business strategic alignment initiative
  • Vet, scope and manage department strategic initiatives to drive alignment across the organization. Also responsible for presenting progress at strategy team meetings
  • Design all content and materials and drive effective and timely ongoing strategic communications
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure strategic projects are on track and success is measured.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics or other related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in related role
  • Strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organized with experience identifying all process flow steps for strategic project execution- Preferred.
