1.) Category Marketing Manager (West Africa)

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria

About the Job

 

  • Category Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategizing and implementing the Organization’s marketing plans for the category, delivering agreed targets for Volume, Net Sales, CO% (Gross Margin) and ROS% (OI).

 

  • This is a leadership role that will also ensure implementation of agreed projects through other members of the team.

 

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be:

 

  • Developing the marketing strategy for the category in line with company objectives.

 

  • Leading and managing the career and development of direct reports.

 

  • Overseeing the company’s marketing budget.

 

  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.

 

  • Building brand equity measures (Brand Power, Salience, Distinctiveness, Meaningfulness)

 

  • Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.

 

  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns, new launches,

 

  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.

 

  • Overall responsibility for brand management

 

Educational Qualification & Experience

 

  • Candidates should possess a BA / B.Sc in Marketing.

 

  • 10-12 years of experience in Brand management, preferably with FMCG work experience.

 

  • Confident and dynamic personality.

 

  • Master’s Degree / MBA (preferred)

 

  • Strong analytical and project management skills.

 

  • Mobility to travel across the West Africa region (25-30% of the time)

 

  • Strong creative outlook.

 

  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

 

About You

You should be able to:

 

  • Understand strategy development in the context of the organization and is able to execute flawlessly.

 

  • Understand the role of consumer marketing in generating demand, and the role of category revenue growth management.

 

  • Know the organization’s mission, goals and strategic business plan

 

  • Have a full understanding of Danone’s categories, products and services, as well as the difference in approach for a customer base organization versus a custom/stockholder corporation

 

  • Have a working knowledge and experience in media buying, media relations and public relations, as well as print houses, broadcast and print media, outdoor advertising media, and distribution channels

2.) Strategy and Insight Analyst

  • The position is expected to build strong internal and external partnerships to identify insights across Markets and brilliantly execute to drive growth.

Duties

The S & I Analyst:

 

  • Will support the Senior S&I Manager to ensure brand strategy execution, support, and drive world class marketing strategy

 

  • Be the custodian of consumer insights, deliver measurement and evaluation for key advertising.

 

  • Support & drive world class understanding of consumer attitudes, motivations and trends that can be leveraged to grow our categories.

 

  • Ensure that brand strategy & communication is founded upon a deep understanding of the consumer.

 

  • Deliver Measurement and Evaluation for key advertising and promotional projects

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Business / Statistics / Economics / Market Research or other related discipline preferred. Postgraduate Qualifications an advantage

 

  • At least 5 years of experience either within a market research agency and/an FMCG organization.

 

  • Experience at managing key stakeholders nationally & internationally would be an advantage.

 

  • Mixed Methods research capabilities: methodological experience in both quantitative and qualitative research techniques.

 

  • Can demonstrate excellent commercial judgement & acumen.

3.) Regional Sales Manager – East

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Department: Sales

  • We are currently looking for Regional Sales Manager (Port Harcourt) who will lead & develop the sales team in region with the purpose of driving Business Results.

 

Job Responsibilities

The RSM will be responsible for:

 

  • Achievement of Volume target

 

  • Temperature standard compliance

 

  • Ensure sales assets functionality

 

  • Price compliance

 

  • Ensuring improvement in the numbers of active vendors in assigned Region

 

  • Ensuring improvement in vendors daily sales

 

  • Ensuring availability target is achieved.

 

  • Customer creation and Mapping

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

 

  • Candidates should possess a First Degree or Higher National Diploma

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of post graduate experience in sales of FMCG with multi-cultural/multinational Environment and must have been in a sales leadership role

 

  • A  strong outgoing and convincing personality, with a sense of urgency, who can communicate at all levels and persuade key stakeholders into the right course of action.
